Sally Brown Millsap

Ms. Millsap is using the Lasseter scholarship to help fund her work toward an education specialist degree in administration and supervision.

She received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from UT-Knoxville in 1999 and her master's degree with a concentration in secondary education and chemistry from UT-Knoxville in 2000.

At Blackman High School, where Ms. Millsap began work in 2000, she teaches Chemistry I and Advanced Placement Chemistry. She also works with a mentoring program for new teachers.

Among Ms. Millsaps' honors are Tennessee Academy of Sciences Distinguished Science Teacher Award, 2008; Kentucky Tennessee Key Club Advisor of the Year, 2007-2008; and Blackman High School Teacher of the Year, 2005-2006.
